Theater is a wonderful medium of storytelling and Lubbock has an incredible theater scene! In an effort to help broaden audiences and bring more visibility to the many performances and companies in the area, Wild Lark Books is hosting a free central calendar of events.

Welcome to LCT’s first SoloFEST Master Class Showcase, hosted by Artist in Residence Austin Dean Ashford and featuring local playwrights and their new works in development. SoloFEST also includes workshops on intimacy and fight choreography, as well as stage readings of Austin’s newest work, PINOCCHI’ANDRE, a tour-de-force Afro-adaptation of Black boys who were never considered human. There’s so much going on through the course of SoloEFST. Here’s the full schedule:
