The Long Road Home by Lisa K. Brewer

The Story of a Brotherhood Born in WWII. Two volunteers from Lubbock, Texas – taken across the globe and challenged more than either man ever dreamed.

While World War II threatened the stability of nations worldwide, a bond of brotherhood was formed from unthinkable challenges:
One having their rights temporarily stripped in the name of national security while working on the Manhattan Project.
And the other surviving as a prisoner of war.

Based on the first-hand wartime experiences of Dr. L. Paul Coffman and Mr. Homer Jones, two everyday citizens who stepped out of their comfort zones and volunteered to defend their country, the United States of America.
