Grand Opening Event for Independent Bookstore Day

We’re celebrating Independent Bookstore Day in a BIG way – with our official grand opening event!

Wild Lark Books is beyond excited to celebrate with our Readers. Thank you for welcoming Wild Lark Books into the Lubbock Community and beyond!

Events for the Day:

Caffeination Station (11 AM – 4:30 PM) – Lubbock’s Coffee Truck will be outside the bookshop. Grab a brew as you peruse the shelves!

Wild Lark Books Author: DL Hammons (11 AM – 8 PM) – Our very own DL Hammons, author of KNIGHT RISE, will be traveling from Arkansas to visit us in the bookshop! And we may have a *thrilling* announcement while he is here…

Ballyhoo Bubble Bar (5 PM – 8 PM) – An Italian Ape (pronounced “ah-pay”) with self-serve drinks of pure fun!

Music by Brandon Word (5 PM – 7 PM) – No pun intended, Word will be providing us with acoustic jams in the evening hours of our celebrations.

SPECIAL GIVEAWAY: Picnic in the Bookshop –  Enjoy a luxurious, private picnic in the bookshop for up to 4 guests. As you indulge in wines and yummies, peruse the shelves for a book of choice to take home with you.
